A World War II Spitfire visited Glasgow Airport today as part of the 75th anniversary celebrations of the engines being made by Rolls Royce. The Spitfire was originally scheduled to do a fly-pass of the Rolls Royce buildings in Inchinnan and East Kilbride last year but it had to be cancelled due to technical difficulties with the aircraft. I was well worth the wait though as the plane went through its paces on a circular route around the Inchinnan plant.
