The Thomas Coats Memorial Church opened it doors for worship on 13th May 1894 and replaced an earlier Baptist Church which stood at the foot of Storie Street.
Commissioned by the family of Thomas Coats, who died in 1883, the Church was designed by Hippolyte Blanc in the Gothic style.
The Church remains to this day as one of the most stunning pieces of architecture in the Town, and a climb to the roof of the tower offers commanding views of Paisley
