Sunday, 31st August 2008 was the date of the annual Paisley 10k race through the streets of Paisley. Over six hundred runners took part in the main event, with many more taking part in the 3k fun run. The main event was again started by Provost Celia Lawson and hosted by Bob Smith.

 The race was won by Allan Adams of Shettleston Harriers, who was second in last year’s race and first lady home was Kerry Lang of Kilbarchan AAC.
