	The Robertson Run took place on Sunday, 19th May over a 5 mile course on top of the Gleniffer Braes. Organized by Good2Run to raise funds for Accord Hospice, the race was run over the undulating hills of the Gleniffer Braes from the Car Park in the Sky to The Glen and back again.

	The annual Duck Race took place on the White Cart River on Saturday, 11th May. This year’s race starter was STV Weatherman Sean Batty. Click here for more photos.

HISTORY


	Paisley is the largest town in Scotland. The town has a rich history; from it’s 12th century Cluniac Abbey, it’s world famous Paisley Pattern Shawls, and its position at the forefront of the Thread Industry all of which brought great wealth and prosperity to the Town, enabling it to build it’s inspiring Town Hall, Museum and Art Gallery, Observatory, Schools and numerous fine Churches.


	Paisley is surrounded by many historical towns and villages and is also ideally situated as a gateway to the Highlands and Islands, with Loch Lomond only 20 minutes away and Edinburgh a mere 45 minutes, and with the airport within 2 miles of the centre of Paisley, it really is the ideal base for visitors from near and far.
